NEW:
- NPI numbers
(National Provider Identifier) are now included on
Board Certified Docs profiles! The ability to search by NPI number will be
available this summer. For more information about NPI, click on the
FAQs link at the top of this page.
NEW: - The very first group of
diplomates to become certified in the new subspecialty of
Child Abuse Pediatrics has now been added to the
database. You can use the Advanced Search to find physicians certified in
that sub-specialty.
UPDATE:
- All of the missing diplomates in
Orthopaedic Surgery
have now been received. Everyone with that certification, including recently
certified physicians will now be found on this site.
UPDATE:
- Profiles for
Pediatricians with time-limited
certificates whose expiration date is not provided by The American Board of
Pediatrics (ABP) will include a notice explaining the lack of an expiration
date. This is a result of the notice from
ABP that, beginning in 2010, newly issued certificates will not contain a
specific end date. We are continuing to
work with ABMS to correct the accreditation situation that is caused by the
lack of an expiration date from ABP. In the meantime, please contact The American
Board of Pediatrics for further certification information: (919) 929-0461 or
