Webinar 3 Now AvailableThe third webinar in our series is accessible under the User Tools tab on the BCD home page. The Advanced Search-Physician Recruiters video provides an overview for our Physician Recruiter customers about how to use the Advanced Search feature. Be sure to watch it today!
New Certificates The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) issued Adult Congenital Heart Disease certificates for the first time. To find those profiles on BCD select the new specialty from the Sub Certification field on the Advanced Search page.
BCD Alerts An error was identified and corrected with the delivery of some emails to customers who have BCD Alerts set up. You may not have received your email notifications as scheduled, however the updates are reflected on the profiles. In your Alerts reference the Last Update column to review the profiles most recently updated.
ABP Records The American Board of Pathology (ABP) issued the first set of CMOC records for newly certified diplomates. You can find those records on BCD by searching on the physician's name or by using a combination of the Advanced Search fields. The ABP Reverification date is 1/31. You can reference the MOC Chart on the Resources page of BCD for an overview.
Published in Cooperation with ABMS is published by Elsevier in cooperation with the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). This authoritative reference tool provides certification status and complete biographical and professional information about board certified physicians. It is designed to help a wide range of professionals and businesses in the medical community with credential verification, referrals, research and more.

At BoardCertifiedDocs you can check a physician's board certification status, medical education and work history. With twice per month certification updates and daily biographical updates, BoardCertifiedDocs provides instant access to complete profiles on more than 1 million board certified physicians.

The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) is recognized as a primary source of board certification information and has been designated by the ABMS as an Official Display Agent and provides this primary source data on the organization's behalf. NOTE: Board certification information (which includes MOC) is reported by the ABMS Member Boards. As a Display Agent, we display what the boards report through ABMS and we cannot change that information on the profiles. If there is a question about certification or MOC data on a profile, please contact the Editorial team (see the Contact Us page), to investigate discrepancies with ABMS.

The profiles on Board Certified Docs meet the requirements from The Joint Commission (TJC), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). To view and print the Official Display Agent letter click here.

About My Alerts

Save your searches or lists of individual specialists to your account. You will receive an e-mail message when any of the saved information has been updated, alerting you to the change(s).

You can choose to be notified when a saved profile has only a certification update or for any change. In addition, you will be notified when a physician is added or deleted from your search results, based on saved criteria.

The alerts lists are organized so those with the most recent changes will appear at the top. The My Alerts feature is also available to customers who are recognized by their IP address.
