New Search Options are now available from the Advanced Search page! You can search by MOC Reverification and MOC Status. These new search fields are direct result of your customer feedback. Updates from ABIM: The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) provided several updates that are now displayed on BCD.
  • -In early 2015 ABIM initiated a grace period for diplomates that completed their Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements, but did not pass the MOC exam. We now have those records and you can find more information about the grace period profiles in section 13.7 of the BCD FAQs.
  • -The board updated records with certificates that previously displayed an expiration date of 12/31/2014.
  • -ABIM provided new MOC records and updates on some records with a 4/1 Reverification date.
  • Data Updates: We recently received updates from three boards including: the American Boards of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS), Radiology (ABR) and Urology (ABU).
  • -ABOS: Meeting MOC Requirements status updated on over 100 records
  • -ABR: Records for diplomates that will now reflect a 3/15/2016 Reverification date
  • -ABU: Certification updates for diplomates who recertified

    The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) is recognized as a primary source of board certification information and has been designated by the ABMS as an Official Display Agent and provides this primary source data on the organization's behalf. The profiles on Board Certified Docs meet the requirements from The Joint Commission (TJC), the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).     Mailing Lists
    In order to ensure that our list customers are provided with the most current and accurate mailing information, Elsevier has contracted with Lake Group Media to handle your list needs.

    BoardCertifiedDocs allows you to download or save discrete physician profiles, including groups of specialists, but does not allow exporting of the mailing information to build a list.

    About My Alerts

    Save your searches or lists of individual specialists to your account. You will receive an e-mail message when any of the saved information has been updated, alerting you to the change(s). 

    You can choose to be notified when a saved profile has only a certification update or for any change. In addition, you will be notified when a physician is added or deleted from your search results, based on saved criteria.

    The alerts lists are organized so those with the most recent changes will appear at the top. The My Alerts feature is now available to customers who are recognized by their IP address.
